Lùib a chèile is a Audio visual work in development that examines the machair in bragar on the Westside of Lewis and upholds the cultivation of the machair and the symbiotic network of life there as a tangible microcosm in which to explore and communicate ideas concerning rootedness/ “dùthchas”, the entangled heritage of humans and nature and Gaelic as a language that holds memories of the land.
